How Do I Submit Tracks to Content ID & More?

In this article, we will go through a step-by-step guide on how to submit tracks to Content ID & More within BeatStars Studio along with their requirements. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: To submit your tracks to Content ID & More, they must meet the following requirements:

  • You must upload an Untagged file with a duration of less than 10 minutes.
  • Your track must be uploaded through our uploading interface on Beatstars Studio, not our previous interface that was available through the Beatstars marketplace. 
  • Only Beats and Beats with Hooks tracks are eligible for submission. Full songs are not accepted.
  • Your track title must not be purely ambient sounds, meditative sounds, or spoken words.

Step-by-Step Guide: 

  1. Start by uploading a new track within Studio by clicking 'Create Track'. Studio 1 (1).jpg

  2. Proceed through the standard track upload process. Be sure you first upload a track file before continuing.

  3. When you reach the ‘Monetization’ step, select your contracts (as per usual) and scroll down to the ‘Content ID & More’ section. Here, you can choose the monetization services you want to enable for your track.

    Please note
    : If you are submitting to Content ID & More for the first time, you will first need to select the ‘Enable Content ID & More’ button. Afterwards, you will be required to complete the following fields:

  4. Optional: If you have collaborators on your track, you can select your percentage split of Content ID & More revenue with them.

  5. Proceed to the ‘Review’ stage and complete your track upload process by publishing your track. To review your Content ID & More submission, return home and select ‘Content ID & More’ from the main navigation menu.

You can also edit your submissions and request takedowns or submit to additional monetization programs.

After your tracks are approved, it will take a minimum of 3 months before you can begin to monitor your earnings and understand how your content is consumed across YouTube, Meta, and TikTok.
