Overview
In this article, you'll learn how to create an album out of existing tracks you've already uploaded. In order to create an album, you will need to upload tracks first. If you don't have any tracks, check out this article to learn how to create one first: How to Upload Tracks (Studio)
Step-by-step Guide:
- In your BeatStars Studio, click the "Create" button and select "Create Album" to get started.
- Click "Edit Artwork" to add artwork to your album. Then, you will be able to enter your album Title, select what type of album you are creating, and schedule a future release date if you'd like. Leave the "Release Date" section as-is if you want it to be public immediately.
- Write an album description and set the Visibility. Choose Private if you only want your album to be visible to you, choose Public if you want your album to be visible to everyone on the marketplace, and choose Unlisted if you want it to be visible to people you send the link to. Click "Next Step" when finished.
- Include up to 3 tags for your Album. Click "Next Step" when finished.
- Click the “Add Tracks to Album” button to select the tracks to add to your Album. Click the “Next Step” button when finished.
- Choose the pricing for the album. Click the “Next Step” button when finished.
- If you worked with anyone else on the album, you can add your collaborators. You can set the profit share, which will split the earnings made from sales on BeatStars, and you are able to enter publishing percentages.
- Review your data on the final page, then click "Publish" to publish your album to BeatStars.
