Upload Issues - Troubleshooting
To ensure this is not a browser-related issue, please can you try the following steps on your desktop/ laptop to see if this rectifies the issue:
- Please ensure you are using a Chrome/ Safari browser and it is up to date.
- Log out of your BeatStars account, if possible and close all BeatStars tabs in your web browser.
- Pause any ad blocker plugins and do not use a VPN (for this test).
- Clear your browser's cache and cookies for the past week.
- Refresh the page, login and try uploading the content again.
- (If not) Open a new incognito window and try again.
What type of audio files can I upload?

Should I upload Track Stems with or without Effects?
This is per your discretion. In most cases, each Track Stem should be without effects unless there are any effects that play a significant role in the production.
We recommend using your best judgment as to what the artist and their engineer would prefer for each Track Stem.
What are track tags?
Keyword Tags, similar to hashtags on social media, are words or phrases preceded by a pound symbol or hashtag (#) used to associate with or identify a particular keyword.
