Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What is a Pending transaction?
A Pending order status means that a seller received your order but hasn’t collected your payment yet. Please note that a Pending transaction is a failed transaction on BeatStars.
Why is the transaction status Pending?
There are a number of possibilities as to why your purchase attempt resulted in a Pending status. Please see the most likely scenarios below:
- An issue with the buyer's payment method
- Fraud block by PayPal or the buyer's payment provider
- An issue with one or more producer's personal PayPal account(s)
- One or more producer's personal PayPal account(s) is not set up to accept international currency
- An issue on PayPal's side
- A browser or device issue
Since it’s Pending, can BeatStars complete the purchase?
Please be aware that BeatStars has no involvement in or control over the transaction process. Our role is to automatically send files once PayPal or the payment provider confirms successful transaction processing. As such we cannot approve or complete the purchase from our side.
Can BeatStars cancel the payment attempt?
Please kindly note that BeatStars does not function as a payment processor, so we cannot create, alter, approve, or remove any transaction; these functions are handled exclusively by PayPal or a payment provider. In this case, we cannot reverse or cancel the transaction.
Can BeatStars issue a refund for a Pending transaction?
We truly apologize for any and all inconvenience caused. Since BeatStars has not involvement in or control over the transaction process, we are unable to issue any refunds for transactions involving beats, sound kits, services, albums, or any products offered from the producers on our platform.
What if the seller claims they received the money?
One or more sellers involved in a Pending transaction may receive their portion of the total payment. Please note that this does not mean all recipients received their funds, and if the payment was not immediately completed, it may result in a Pending status. You may need to discuss a refund with the sellers who did receive the payment or with your payment provider, if necessary.
How can I fix this issue for future transactions?
We suggest contacting PayPal Technical Support for assistance through this link. It is possible that the settings on your PayPal account need updating.
If you didn't use PayPal, you will need to connect with your payment provider for further assistance. We also recommend exploring different payment methods.
