Overview
In this article, you will learn what steps to take when you want to begin a negotiation with a seller on their Pro Page. Please see the instructions below.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You can manage your negotiations on the Marketplace; however, if you do not want to pay the 12% Marketplace Service Fee, you would need to add the beats to your cart and checkout via the "Offers" section on the seller's Pro Page.

Step-by-step Guide
- Navigate to the Seller's Pro Page and log into your BeatStars account on the top right of the page.
- Next, click the price button to the right of the track you wish to negotiate for.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This button shows the lowest license and price by default.
- In the "Choose contract type" pop-up, click the "Negotiate the price" button.

On the following page, select the terms and price you wish to negotiate. Details regarding each field are outlined further below.
- AUTO-EXPIRE THIS OFFER: This drop-down field allows you to select from the available expiration durations.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If the expiration date is reached without a completed payment, the negotiation will expire.- OFFER AMOUNT (USD): This field allows you to enter the desired price you are willing to pay and negotiate with the seller.
- For Exclusive Licenses - Publishing %: This section is decided by the producer and is not negotiable.
- Once you have completed each field and are satisfied with your terms, click the "Send Offer" button to begin negotiations with the seller.
- The seller can now agree to your terms to complete the sale, counter your offer with a price and terms of their own, or decline your offer. You will receive a notification once the seller responds.
- You can also monitor the progress of your negotiations by clicking your profile image at the top right of the Seller's Pro Page and clicking the "Offers" option.
