‭How Do I Enable Extended Payment Methods For My Marketplace Store?

Overview

This guide will walk you through the steps to enable extended (digital wallet) payment methods for your Marketplace store, including:

  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • Venmo
  • PayPal
  • PayPal Pay Later

By connecting your PayPal Business account to your BeatStars account, you give your customers a variety of convenient checkout options with minimal setup.

IMPORTANT NOTES: 

  • The new digital wallet payment methods are only available for Marketplace transactions and not Pro Page at this time.

Setting Up Digital Wallet Payments

First, you need to verify your PayPal Business Account. To enable digital wallet payments, you must have:

  • A verified PayPal Business account
  • Your PayPal login credentials ready

IMPORTANT NOTE: The new digital wallet payment options will not work with a personal PayPal account. If you don’t have a Business account yet, you’ll need to create or upgrade one before proceeding.

Connect Your Business PayPal Account

  1. Log in to your BeatStars account

  2. Navigate to Account Settings → "Payout Accounts" in your BeatStars Studio. 

  3. Click or tap “Enable Now” from the banner


    NOTE: If you’re onboarding for the first time, you’ll be prompted to connect your PayPal account during setup. If so, please follow the guide here: How Do I Connect My PayPal Account For Beat Sales?

  4. After clicking or tapping the “Enable Now” option in the banner, you’ll be redirected to PayPal’s secure login page

     

  5. Enter your PayPal Business account credentials

    • If you don’t have a Business account, PayPal will prompt you to create or upgrade one.


       

  6. Review the permissions requested.

  7. Click “Authorize” to connect your accounts.

Supported Payment Methods

Once you complete the authorization process, your store can accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit Cards – Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover Card, JCB, and others

  • PayPal

  • PayPal Pay Later – Available in US, UK, DE, FR, ES, IT, AU

  • Venmo – US only

  • Apple Pay – Available in 36 countries

  • Google Pay – Available in 36 countries
