Overview
In this article, you will learn how to edit your licenses and contracts. Please see the following instructions.
Step-by-step Guide:
- Log into your BeatStars account and go to BeatStars Studio.
- Visit the Contracts section.
- Click the 3 dots to the right of the desired license and select the "Edit" option.
- Make any desired changes to the license's title, description, feature list, price, or included files, and select whether you'd like the license to be active by default on new content.
- On the "Contract" tab, make any desired adjustments to the Contract Details. You can click "Full Customization" here to edit the Contract to your preferences and to preview how the buyer would see it. You can make your changes here and click 'Save':
- On the "Tracks" tab, select which tracks you'd like to enable this license for.
- Click the "Publish" button towards the bottom right when finished.
IMPORTANT NOTES: If you’d like to view your full license exactly as it appears to buyers, open a new incognito browser window, add your beats to the cart, and review the license directly within the cart view. You can also view and save your full license customization by going to the Contract Customization page, clicking on Full Customization, copying the entire preview text, and pasting it into a Word document to save as a PDF for your records.
