Overview
In this article, you will learn more about the Content ID & More service winding down after a year-long trial. No new submissions are being accepted, and existing enrolled tracks are being removed from partner platforms on a set timeline. Royalties may still be paid up to one year after removal.
Can I still submit new tracks to Content ID & More?
New Content ID & More submissions will no longer be accepted after December 8, 2025.
What happens to my tracks that have already been submitted?
By January 14, 2026, existing tracks submitted to Content ID & More tracks will automatically be removed from:
- YouTube,
- Meta
- TikTok
IMPORTANT NOTE: You do not need to manually remove or edit submissions.
No further claims will be generated for tracks currently active in the program. This means you would not see any new videos receive Content ID & more claims.
Are there any future plans for Content ID & More?
We are currently evaluating new options and planning a stronger Content ID solution for the future.
Although no specific replacements are available yet, rest assured that we are working to bring this to the community as soon as we can.
Will I still get royalties from Content ID & More?
Tracks previously monetized through Content ID & More may continue to generate royalties for up to one year after removal from platforms.
Any earnings received during this timeframe will still be:
- Processed by BeatStars as normal.
- Paid out to the creator’s BeatStars Wallet as they are received.
- There is no extra action required on your side to receive these payouts (as long as your BeatStars wallet/payout setup is correct).
Do I need to do anything on my side?
No, you would not need to take any further action at this stage. Everything will happen automatically as part of the wind-down process.
- Your tracks will automatically be removed from YouTube Content ID, Meta, or TikTok
- You will continue to receive royalties from past monetisation up to one year.
