IMPORTANT NOTES:
-
Before registering tracks it is important to note what type of tracks are allowed to be registered. We highly recommend reading the article What Types of Tracks Can I add to BeatStars Publishing? before proceeding.
- If your Publishing application is currently "Under Review", you can use these steps to create drafts, but you won't be able to submit them until your application is approved.
- Log into BeatStars Studio here, and navigate to the Publishing section.
- Click the "+ Add track to publishing" button.
- Search for your track by entering the track name, artist name, album name, or ISRC number.
- Select your tracks for registration.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You have the flexibility to select multiple tracks for registration and simultaneously search using new terms. This will include all selected tracks in the same bulk registration.
- You can review and manage the selected tracks by clicking on the "tracks selected" option.
- Within the "Selected Tracks" menu, you can review or remove specific tracks within the list.
- After selecting all the tracks you intend to register, click the "Next Step" button.
- You can now review all selected tracks and update the credits for each track accordingly. You can edit details for each track individually or apply bulk edits.
- You can now upload your signed producer agreement or split sheet with your Publishing submission to expedite your registration.
Click "Upload" to attach your document as a .pdf, .xls or .doc file.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you need a producer agreement or split sheet template, you can download them here: What Documents Can I Upload For Publishing Registrations? - Once you are satisfied with your review, you can proceed by clicking "Submit".
IMPORTANT NOTE: You have the option to submit tracks individually or in bulk.
- Your track registrations have been successfully submitted at this stage. We will then review your submissions and notify you if there are any issues during our review process.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Within the tracklisting section, please see below with regards to the statuses you might see and what each means.
- If the "Submit" button is greyed out, it usually means something required in the registration flow hasn’t been completed yet, the names of collaborators are too long, or your Publishing Application is still under review and not yet approved.
Draft: This status is used whenever you click on the "Save as Draft" button. This status is for drafts you have created but have not yet published.
