Overview
AI search lets you find beats using conversational language instead of traditional keyword searches. Instead of searching for "trap beat 140 bpm," you can describe what you're looking for — like "I need an upbeat country rap beat for a party song" — and get relevant results powered by AI.
How to access AI search
- Click the search bar at the top of the BeatStars site.
-
The search bar will expand and display two search mode options: Text and AI.
-
Select "AI" to activate AI search. You'll notice a purple border appear around the search bar, indicating AI mode is active.
Using AI Search
With AI mode selected, type a natural language description of the beat you're looking for into the search bar. Try describing the mood, genre, artist style, or intended use.
Search examples:
- "Chill R&B beat for late night vibes"
- "Something that sounds like Drake but more upbeat"
- "Acoustic guitar country beat with a laid back feel"
- "Amapiano beat with deep bass and log drum vibes"
Once you enter your prompt, you'll be taken to a filterable search results page where you can browse and refine your results.
Managing Your Chat History
When AI mode is active, the search bar displays your Chat history — the 4 most recent prompts you've entered. You can use this to quickly re-run a previous search.
To re-run a past search: Click or tap any item in your chat history.
To remove a single item: Click or tap the × next to that prompt.
To clear all history at once: Click or tap Clear history in the top right of the search dropdown.
