How Do I Upgrade My Account?

In this article, you'll learn how to upgrade your existing BeatStars plan to a higher tier to unlock more features. For a full list of plan types and their features, please visit the Pricing page. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: Pro-Rated Charges For Subscription Upgrades

• When upgrading your BeatStars subscription, pro-rated charges are applied based on the time remaining on your current plan.
• If you upgrade before your current subscription’s end date, your plan will switch to the upgraded plan, and the remaining pro-rata credits will be applied to your invoice for the Subscription. 
• If you upgrade to a new plan partway through your subscription you will pay a pro-rated amount. If your new plan offers promo credits, you will receive the difference between your already received promotional credits (if your old plan included any), and the promotional credits included within your new plan, (example below). 

Step-by-step Guide:

1. Visit your Account Settings page and click "Subscription".
    
2. Click "Manage" and then "Manage subscription".
   
    
3. Choose the plan type you want to upgrade to and click "Upgrade".
   
   
    

4. In the "Complete your order" window that appears, review your order and the amount you will be charged today, along with your billing address and payment method information. If necessary, you can update your payment method. 

   
   NOTE: The following payment methods can be used for your BeatStars subscription:
   - Credit Card
   - Debit Card
   - Google Pay - Mobile Subscriptions
   - Apple Pay - Mobile Subscriptions
   - PayPal (must be linked to a payment source; PayPal balance cannot be used)
    

5. Click the checkbox to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
    

6. Click the "Subscribe" button to finalize the upgrade.
