Switching Your BeatStars Account from Individual to Business

Overview:
This guide is designed for BeatStars Professional subscribers who own a business entity and wish to transition their individual BeatStars account to a business account. To be eligible for this switch, users must meet the following criteria: 

1. Must be a BeatStars Professional plan subscriber. 
2. Cannot be within the Free trial period of their subscription. 
3. Must be willing and able to provide necessary business documentation and consent as outlined below. 

Step-by-step Guide:

1. Verify your eligibility by ensuring you are a Professional subscriber and not currently within a trial period. This feature is exclusive to users with an active Professional subscription. You can view and manage your subscription from the "Account Settings > Subscription" section of your account: https://www.beatstars.com/account/subscription 
   
   
2. To initiate the switch to a business account, navigate to your Account Settings in your BeatStars Studio, click on Billing and licensing, and then select the “Business” option under "Account type".
   
   
   
3. Input your business information by adding your business details which will include:
   a) VAT, TAX number, or equivalent for your business.
   b) Your registered Company name.
   c) Your First and Last name associated with the business.
   
   IMPORTANT NOTE: This information is crucial for verifying your business’s legitimacy. 
   
   
4. Click the "Verify Identity" button to being the identity verification process.
   
   
   To verify your identity, upload a clear, valid form of identification (ID) for verification purposes. Accepted forms include a driver's license, passport, or other government-issued ID. 5. Agree to the consent statement: "I confirm my commitment to offer only products or services that comply with the applicable rules of the European Digital Services Act (DSA)."
   
   
   IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a mandatory step to ensure all business accounts operate within legal compliance.
   
   
6. Click the "Save changes" button when finished entering your details on this page.
   
   
7. If you haven’t provided your payment method yet, you will be required to add a payment method to qualify for a business entity account at BeatStars.
   
   IMPORTANT NOTE: This information is necessary for processing sales and ensuring you receive your earnings as a business entity.
   
   
8. Once your account has been successfully verified as a business, you will receive a "Business"    badge associated with your account. This badge signifies to buyers and other sellers that you are recognized as a business entity on BeatStars, enhancing trust and credibility.
