Step-by-step Guide:

  1. From your BeatStars Studio, click the "Create" button and select "Create Album" to get started.
You can also navigate to your Album section and click "+ Add Album".

  2. On the "Basic Info" tab, you can change the information about your Album that will be visible on your Marketplace or Pro Page.

    • Artwork: Change the artwork by clicking 'Edit Artwork' to upload a file or create new artwork in Canva.
    • Title: Choose a name for your Album.
    • Type: Select the type of album you are uploading: Beat or Song.
    • Release Date: Schedule a future release date, or leave it as today's date for immediate release.
    • Description (optional): Add a description of the album. This will appear on the album page to provide more information about the album for potential buyers as shown below:

  3. Finally, you can set the visibility of the Album:
    • Private: if you only want your album to be visible to you.
    • Public: if you want your album to be visible to everyone on Marketplace & Pro Page.
    • Unlisted: if you want your album to be visible only to those you send the link to.

  4. Click "Next Step" when you are finished.

  5. Include up to 3 tags for your Album. Click "Next Step" when finished.

  6. Click the “Add Tracks to Album” button to select the tracks to add to your Album. Click the “Next Step” button when finished.

  7. Choose the pricing for the album. Click the “Next Step” button when finished.

  8. If you worked with anyone else on the album, you can add your collaborators. You can set the profit share, which will split the earnings made from sales on BeatStars, and you are able to enter publishing percentages.

  9. Review your data on the final page, then click "Publish" to publish your album to BeatStars.
