Select a bid amount based on what you are willing to spend per CPM (1000 impressions). For more information on how bidding works, please see the following article: How Does Bidding Work On Promote
Set targeting settings for your campaign.
-
"Global Audience" will automatically target a wider audience for your ad.
-
Creating a custom audience will allow you to choose between targeting Artists, Producers, or both, and select up to 3 keywords, 3 locations, or both in order to define where your ad is more likely to get shown.
Targeting Artists will increase the likelihood of your ad reaching artists in the marketplace, while targeting Producers will focus your ad on producers. Selecting both allows you to reach a broader audience. You can experiment with these combinations to find what works best for your specific goals.
-
Set a start date, time, and duration for your campaign.
- The default start date will be the day your campaign is set-up.
- The duration will default to 7 days. You can select anywhere between 1 and 30 days to run your campaign if you select the end date.
- You can also set a start time for the campaign (the default is current time). The end time on the end date will always be the same as the start time.
- Remember to check your campaign overview to see how much you will be charged up front for the campaign.
- You can also set your campaign to run continuously if you want to begin and pause your ad manually.
- You can select a start date in the future if you would like to schedule your campaign in advance.
Important noteCampaigns are now invoiced immediately upon creation. For campaigns with a fixed start and end date, you must pay the cost up front. For continuous campaigns, you will be invoiced your daily budget on a daily basis. If you want to account for your total spend, running a continuous campaign will give you the most flexibility based on when you start and stop your campaigns manually.
